They like poor soil and full sun.
Coneflower seeds benefit from 8 to 12 weeks of cold stratification (put them in the refrigerator) prior to planting. When to Plant: Scatter seeds in late fall, direct sow early spring or start indoors (after cold stratification) 6 to 8 weeks prior to the last spring frost.
